Frankie and I decided to go to the Termas de Cacheuta on Saturday and Sunday- but since it was my birthday and the both of us hava had a hard year, we decided to go that Thursday- the next day. Luckily we were able to call and make reservations.
in the remis on the way to the hot springs
The day before we left- the day we had schemed he whole thing we were also looking into transportation. At the beginning we called the Espreso Uspallata at the bus terminal. They said they ha a bus that left at 7am an then at 10.20am. We still had a lot to do befire we could leave the house so we decided to just take the Remis.I was turning 30 and we thought that it was the perfect time to splash out and spend a few days at the Termas de Cacheuta Hotel and Spa. We had been trying new/old restaurants the whole week: Anna's, Fratelli's and this other grill we'd never been to with no visible name, a over-enthusiastic waiter, and and abundance of food. It had only been the second week that we were back in Mendoza and after a week of bill-paying, floor scrubbing and laundry, we were really milking my birthday week.
still in town- entering Godoy Cruz
Mountains to the right- they're there to the west in the city too.
After a while you start weeing mountains on both sides- this was the first time we had gone that far deep into the mountains.
Here's a short video of our trip to the spa
